I disagree.  Just up its speed.

I highly disagree.  T1 is only 1.5 mbs.  DSL goes up to 8 mbs.
DSL is cheaper per month by about $200, only $300 instead of $500 for a T1.

Get DSL that is throttled for download by the ISP.
Instead of 768 bps download and 128 bps upload (bronze plus)
get something like 1.5 mbs download and 3 mps upload (if you
need the upload for file serving outside the organization).
