My take on this list/group is a organization of Linux professionals.
It would be for Linux Pro's to discuss technical issues and products.
Discuss doing business with Linux and related issues. Linux
communality issues to be discusses. To contact other Linux
professionals to sub-contract work by building a skills and contact
database. It would become a place for business/people needing Linux
professionals to post opportunities and scan the database for Linux
Pro's.

The hard part is deciding when something is more appropriate for the
general LULA list than the business list. Such as people looking for
work. If a individual seeking employment that would be more of LULA
list item. A user seeking technical help for desktop app or issue that
would be more of a LULA issue. All that said the it is a very fuzzy
line and in general we should only suggest to people something is more
of a LULA topic and only chastise constants abusers.

Another issue to consider is when someone is offering work or looking
for professionals. We should consider having a policy that replies be
taken off list. The list shouldn't be a place for us to compete with
each other publicly. People looking for Linux Pros should supply
contact info, and Linux Pro's interest should use that contact method
to follow up.

That's my two cents,
Steve B.
