Archiving the old posts sounds like a great idea. I've seen a lot of useful
info that isn't always relevent to my needs at the moment but I can see that
at some future time the info would prove to be most useful.

Anyone have ideas how we can set up the posts so they are searchable with
sort capabilities?

I think this list should be pretty free flowing with very little
considered off topic at least until it get's it's bearings.
Mostly I think that the list should be about organizing our group of
independent Linux consultants so that the sum is greater than the parts.
One of the things I would like to see the list organized is a way and
place on the web to post jobs and resumes. Both require more
presistence and visibility than they typically get on a mailing list.
I'm thinking of some software like phpnuke or phpwebsite that allows
users to post stories with comments and expiration dates.
Something like that would also useful for the technical posts as well.
While we're on the subject here's a business idea for the group: The
lula list archives are many years old now and contain a treasure of
Linux history and technical info. It takes only editing and indexing to
unlock that value, even some of the OT stuff makes for interesting
reading. We took the list away from Yahoo becasue they wanted to get
their greasy hands on that material. Maybe we could publish LULA LIST -
THE BOOK followed by LULA LIST - THE MOVIE.
