No problem
I fully understand. I am just hoping that for people entering the industry
we can keep the standards high.
If you know of people wiht a good amount of knowledge of Linux, desktop as
well as server and firewall with Micosoft experience who likes to trouble
shoot in the field, I would appreciate you letting them know that we are
always looking.

Subject: [Lula-biz] Consulting Rate
Hey there Lou!
Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that you guys were over priced. As I
said, $70/hr seems slightly high in the context of an inexperienced
independent contractor doing some simple Access & network admin work.
I'm sure when Joseph started out he'd have had a hard time charging
$70/hr for work that anyone could do. Once you've proven yourself, and
in particular once you have a company that represents a group of
consultants, and certainly for solving problems an IT department can't
solve themselves even if they had the time, $70 may actually be quite
low. The original question seemed more like the first context rather
than the latter.
