To express interest in this position, please send your resume to Jennifer at PriceGrabber.com Senior Systems Administrator Responsibilities * Responsible for the direct administration (as part of a Team of Unix Administrators) of all Unix servers used in Production, Development, and/or Staging environments; including daily hands-on operation setup, configuration, general maintenance and troubleshooting. * Administer the server hardware, Unix operating system and selected system applications. * Responsible for assisting the Unix server users, including PHP, Perl or SQL Developers, QA, etc., with application specific usage, performance tuning, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. * Serves as primary or secondary point of contact for various components of the Unix system. * Respond to any service outage that affects the availability of the production website. * Responsible for daily website usage and availability.
