[Lula] Microsoft writes Oklahoma anti-spyware bill... that lets them use spyware!

I absolutely don't care if cracked software could get deleted from my  
computer (assuming perfect knowledge on the manufacturer's part --  
heh.).   Why should I hold the software manufacturer to a higher  
standard than I hold myself...

It's the other stuff I worry about.  If someone's looking at my  
software, might they also be looking at my documents?  After 9/11 we  
saw stories of airline passengers being pulled off of planes for  
reading novels with terrorist themes.  And 'child suspended for  
taking aspirin at school/hugging classmate/writing murder fantasy'  
stories are fairly common.   Would Nabokov be in danger of being  
arrested while he wrote "Lolita"?  Or William S. Burroughs writing  
"Naked Lunch"?  Or some poor sap venting in a private journal?

Thought crimes...
