I see you were able to install the entire suite!  I don't use Ami Pro
anymore, but the next step would be the Lotus v9.5 suite from which I
have a ton of Word Pro documents.  I also don't use desktop icons
anyway, but for the sake of being truly compatible, agree they should
show up in the install.

Did you get any nag screens to register the program? (major nuisance.)

I also have several other programs to try, but don't know how to get
them started in Mandrivel 10.1.  How do I do it?  Just put an install
disk in the CD or floppy drive?

How will I install wine-0.9.18 in Mandrivel, which uses some kind of
.mdk files -- I don't really understand the process.  Does wine
install with a .deb, .tar or .gz file or what?  (I am REALLY an egg....)
When I looked for wine on Mandrivel's "program manager" my system said
"you already have that" and ended the process.  No telling what version
of wine is in this thing.
