And some queries will fail... resulting in loss of web access for some.
5 minutes I think is too low.  15 is medium I think.  Anyone have an
opinion of a good value?

Resetting your TTL is critical.  Do not forget this step.

I'm also a firm believer in secondary DNS and backup MX services on
