[Lula] automating firefox extensions installation?

Hi,

I upgraded ubuntu to the dapper release, and this process appears to have
lost my installed firefox extensions and other firefox miscellanea.

Rather than searching thru the [evergrowing] list of firefox extensions to
find the ones I want and then browser to the web page for each of those
extensions to install them,

I would like to automate this task.
I've probably done this 10 times setting up firefox on different machines,
and after recreating profiles, installing a bunch of extensions and I'm
tired of it.

I should be able to make a list of the URLs to the extensions I want, and
then kick off something to install them all. I could then reuse this list
to install my favorite extensions on the next machine.

My web searches so far have not turned up anything relevant.

If I could build a list of extensions all at version 0.0, the update
extensions feature could just download them for me.

Does anyone know of any projects or scripts to automate the installation
of firefox extensions?

Thanks,
Steve
