So, AMD64 is a no-brainer if you want a 64-bit runtime on your laptop.
Duo Core seems like a no brainer over Pentium M (aside from some
software/firmware bugs that were there in the beginning). The tricky one
is Turion vs. Core Duo for a 32-bit runtime. Duo will in theory not be
so hot for single threaded cases. Last I checked, they were close enough
that you probably should focus more on other factors.
