[Lula] Old Distros - Use or Donate?

Use modern OS'es, not the old ones.
They will be faster, better optimized for this hardware.
The hardware sounds fine.
Linux would scream on such fine hardware.

Most certainly the software is obsolete.

The power tools is still good.  
And will be for decades to come.

Historically, such old boxed sets look cool on your shelf.
Keep them.
