[Lula] installfest

Hi, my name is Lorie and I read about the installfest. I'd like to bring my Sony Vaio sr33. It currently dual-boots to Win/Redhat 7.3.
I'd like to:
get my Verizon PC5750 wireless card (already activated) to work with it. It doesn't have any on board wireless adapters.
There seems to be better support for the card under Ubuntu, but I can't get it to install. I'd make it an all Linux machine if I could get wireless Internet working on it.
