This was a good reference at one time; however it has not been updated
since the days of Samba 2.2.7.  Samba has changed significantly since
then.  The current version is 3.0.26a.  Some options have been
deprecated since the 2x series; others no longer work at all.  So I
would strongly suggest you use a more up-to-date reference.

If you are opposed to purchasing printed books (which help support the
Samba project) the same docs are available in html format at samba.org
