Embedded Linux Software Engineer

This is a ~3 months contract that might be extended.

Seeking software developer with prior embedded Linux user space
experience.

Minimum requirements
====================

** Strong C and C++ programming and debugging skills; minimum of 7 years
** Knowledge of GNU development tools
** Linux user space application development with use of GDB; minimum of 4 years
** Code efficiency, performance optimization
** Experience with at least one embedded Linux distribution;
MontaVista Linux preferred

The candidate must be familiar with structured development process
including requirement capture, design, unit test and validation.
Candidate should also be familiar with supporting development tools such
as source control systems and issue tracking.

Additional desired skills
=========================
** Knowledge of target file system creation and NAND flash operation
** Embedded Linux device drivers development and integration
** Knowledge of scripting and makefiles on Linux

Will be required to work onsite in Newport Beach (near John Wayne airport).
