what annoyed me the most about it was that they choose "This is not
spam" as a subject.

maybe it helps to send them a nice reply telling them that you'd forward
this to the list if they address the lug properly and use a proper
meaningfull subject.

some people have been known to learn if they are taught nicely.

as for them addressing a company, one could say that they are addressing
the comanies that are readers on the list, but for that they would have
better written an introductory line addressing the lug, asking to
forward the rest.
